Relative Clauses

RELATIVE CLAUSES:

1. Defining: 

♥ We use defining relative clauses to give Relevant Information about someone or something.

WHICH/THAT: Objects,Things.

WHEN: Time,Places.

WHO/THAT: People.

WHOSE: Possesion.

WHOM: Person who receives an action.

2. Non-Defining:

♥ We use non-defining relative clauses to give extra information about the person or thing. We don’t need it to understand who or what is being referred to.
