Summary: "The first time I tried to commit suicide was just a teenager, because although you know things, what you feel is imposed; and there are many occasions in which our perception is limited. Our perception is similar to a bubble that expands and contracts, many of us have experienced the challenges of that contraction in certain occasions".




think about the last time a car crossed them, here in the city it probably happened today, when it happened their pulse accelerated, their faces reddened, they stepped on the brake to avoid the collision and the first thing they did was look at the plate of the other car and see how it was going through his mind to reach him and yell at the man in the car.
Now your perception will have returned to normal, they will have relaxed and everything returns to normal, but imagine that they were blocked on that dark side because living with a mental illness can be like this ...

Biography:


Mark is the principal and CEO of Strategic Mental Health Solutions, a boutique consulting firm that specializes in helping organizations and individuals to move strategically from basic mental health awareness toward meaningful, measurable action.
He has previously served as the youngest president of a provincial Canadian Mental Health Association division in history, the youngest member of the board of directors for the Mental Health Commission of Canada, and a national spokesperson for the Faces of Mental Illness campaign. He has worked as a front line mental health counsellor, and the manager of a national workplace mental health training program. Prior to his present role, Mark oversaw the Fund Development and Marketing & Communications portfolios for the Canadian Mental Health Association as National Director of Strategic Initiatives.
Today, Mark is sought after public speaker and active media commentator on issues related to mental illness and mental health.

Reported Speech

REPORTED SPEECH:



We use reported speech to report someone's words or thoughts. We can use different verbs to express the message of the original words, which is also called direct speech.



  • Present simple becomes to Past Simple.

Example: ☺ I eat pizza everyday
                        He said that she ate pizza everyday.


  • Past Simple becomes Past Perfect.

Example: ☺I understand the French lesson.
                       She said that he had understood the lesson.



  • Present Continuous becomes Past Continuous.

Example: ☺She is dancing with Luis.
                       They said that she was dancing with Luis.




  • Past Continuous becomes Past Perfect Continuous.

Example: ☺ He was smoking all the night.
                     She said that he has been smoking all the night.



  • The modal verbs usually change.

Relative Clauses

RELATIVE CLAUSES:


1. Defining: 

We use defining relative clauses to give Relevant Information about someone or something.

WHICH/THAT: Objects,Things.


WHEN: Time,Places.





WHO/THAT: People.





WHOSE: Possesion.






WHOM: Person who receives an action.




2. Non-Defining:


♥ We use non-defining relative clauses to give extra information about the person or thing. We don’t need it to understand who or what is being referred to.
